Öz 

Rekreasyon/Rekreaktif-Oyun ve Spor Alanlarının (ROSA) Planlanması-Tasarımı, şehirlerin gelişimine yön verebilecek derecede önemli disiplinler arası bir etkinliktir. Günümüzde kentleşme sorunlarının artmış olması, sıkıcı, gürültülü ve giderek sağlıksız hale gelen kent yaşamına alternatif olabilecek rekreasyon alanlarının da planlanarak kullanılmasını gerektirmektedir. Öyle ki üniversitelerin yeni rekreasyon bölümleri ve spor dalları da niceliksel ve niteliksel açıdan çeşitlenerek artmaktadır. Ayrıca ekstrem sporların da artan bir şekilde ilgi çektiği bilinmektedir. Bu sporlara ülkemizin doğası da uygundur. Ancak nadir olan benzer tür doğal alanlara da değer verilmesi önemlidir. Spor alanlarının sağlıklı yaşamayı teşvik etmesi için ilgi gören eğlence-dinlenme, oyun ve spor ihtiyaçlarına göre şehirlerin önceden planlanması şarttır. Çalışmanın özgün yanı, şehir çeperlerinde doğa sporları için uygun olan doğal alanların giderek özel bir çekim alanı haline gelebileceğini vurgulayarak önlem alma çabasıdır. Kentlerde eğitim turizmi geliriyle kalkınma olanağı da sağlanabilecektir. Çalışma, ROSA tasarımı ve planlaması için saha örnekleri üzerinden tespitlerde bulunarak öneriler geliştirmektedir.

Urban Design and Planning in Recreation/Recreactive-Games and Sports Areas (RGSA) with Application Samples

Abstract 

Recreation/Recreactive-Games and Sports Areas (RGSA) Planning-Design is an important interdisciplinary activity that can shape the development of cities. Nowadays, the increase in urbanization problems necessitates the planning and use of recreational areas which may be an alternative to boring, noisy and increasingly unhealthy urban life. So that, new recreation departments at universities and sports branches are also increasing in terms of both qualitative and quantitative aspects. Besides extreme sports are also known to be of increasing interest. The nature of our country is also suitable for these sports, but these natural areas, which are rare, should also be important. As a result, cities need to be planned in advance, according to such interested recreation/recreactive-games and sporting needs for sports areas to promote healthy living. The unique aspect of the study is that it takes precautions by emphasizing that the natural parts that are suitable for extreme sports in the city peripheries can gradually become a special attraction area. With the income from education tourism in cities, development opportunities will be provided. The study, develops suggestions by determining field examples for RGSA design and planning.

An Analysis of the Interaction between Climate and City

Abstract 

Most of the human activities today take place in cities. The unplanned urban- ization since the onset of industrialization  has been creating many serious cumulative problems especially in cities and in different environmental dimensions. Therefore, urban- ization has long been, and still is, a determinant factor in global warming and climate change. Today, urbanization and climate change contain interactive dynamics that involve complex interrelated aspects, therefore requiring the analysis of chaotic processes. The pre- sent study deals with and re-analyzes the visible concrete consequences of these dynamics to first achieve a synthesis that would also make the solutions politically effective. The theoretical background of the present study consists of a number of policies that seek to raise awareness of the climate change in the historical past. It is the indirect objective of the present study that these policies go beyond raising awareness and become far more effec- tive on the whole. In order to ensure that this objective is achieved without further delay, disaster examples caused by climate change had to be included as a field study as well. To open the current findings for a discussion and increase the measures against climate change in unplanned settlements, policies need to be continuously  reviewed and restructured. New and striking planet-size relational findings are increasing, which will require further deepening the analytics on the consequences of climate change and in fact on the detailed modeling that will be attempted in subsequent studies over time. Future research also has to strive to make urban and environmental policies much more effective in order to dis- cuss such findings for complex dynamics and to improve measures against climate change.
